How to Take Zavesca
It is important to take Zavesca as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
Dosage Instructions
For adults with Type 1 Gaucher disease, the usual dose is one capsule (100 mg) three times daily. For Niemann-Pick type C disease, adults and adolescents typically take two capsules (200 mg) three times daily. Dosage for children under 12 will be determined by a doctor.
What If You Miss a Dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
