How to Take Rivaxib
It is important to take Rivaxib exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
Dosage Instructions
For preventing clots after surgery, take one 10 mg tablet once daily. For stroke prevention or treatment of clots, the usual dose is one 20 mg tablet once daily. If kidney function is impaired, the dose may be adjusted to 15 mg once daily. For treating DVT or PE, take one 15 mg tablet twice daily for the first three weeks, then switch to one 20 mg tablet once daily.
What If You Miss a Dose?
If you miss a dose of Rivaxib, take it as soon as you remember. Do not take more than the prescribed amount in one day.
Important: Never double the dose to make up for a missed dose.
