Primary Uses

Micardis Plus is primarily used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure).

How It Works

Telmisartan works by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, which causes blood vessels to narrow, while hydrochlorothiazide helps reduce excess fluid in the body, both contributing to lower blood pressure.

Good to know: Micardis Plus is not addictive.
