How to Take Abiraterone-Teva 500mg

Abiraterone-Teva must be taken on an empty stomach with specific timing around meals to ensure proper absorption and avoid side effects.

Dosage Instructions

The usual daily dose is two 500mg tablets taken as a single dose once daily. Must be taken at least two hours after eating and no food should be eaten for at least one hour after taking the medication. Swallow tablets whole with water – do not break them. Usually prescribed with prednisolone (5 or 10mg daily) which must be taken daily while on Abiraterone-Teva.

What If You Miss a Dose?

Do not use if you are allergic to abiraterone acetate or any ingredients, if you are pregnant or potentially pregnant, if you have severe liver failure, or if you are being treated with XOFIGO radiation therapy. Should not be taken if you have moderate or severe liver disease.
