How to Take Periactin

For adults treating allergies, take 1 tablet three times a day, not exceeding 8 tablets in 24 hours. For children aged 7-14 years, take 1 tablet three times a day, not exceeding 4 tablets in 24 hours. For children aged 2-6 years, give half a tablet two to three times a day, not exceeding 3 tablets in 24 hours. For migraines, adults may take 1 tablet initially and a second after 30 minutes if needed, not exceeding 2 tablets every 4-6 hours.

If you miss a dose, do not take a double dose to make up for it. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
